Attractive Aer Lingus business class fares to New York

Aer Lingus has launched some attractive business class fares to New York.
That’s the good news. The bad news is that you need to go to Paris or Rome to get these deals, and then fly via Dublin.
Why would you bother? The key reason is that these fares do NOT require a Saturday night stay, or any minimum stay at all. This is a big difference to most discounted fares we write about.
If your lifestyle means that midweek breaks work best for you, this may work.
Another upside is that you will clear US immigration in Dublin, allowing you to walk off the aircraft and straight out of the airport after landing.
Remember that Aer Lingus flights do NOT yet earn British Airways Executive Club tier points. You do earn Avios – as long as you credit them to Aer Lingus AerClub – but not tier points. This will change at some point but the date keeps slipping back.
Here’s the deal:
- fly from Paris or Rome to New York
- travel between January and August 2024
- no minimum stay required
- no Saturday night stay required
- connecting flight to Dublin will be on a one class aircraft unless you get one of the flights which is served with an A321LR or a long haul aircraft
Fares are roughly €1,400 (£1,200) return from Paris and €1,275 (£1,100) from Rome. I didn’t struggle to find availability last night although the fares could be pulled at any time.
