Accor recently revitalised its two subscription cards – the ALL PLUS ibis card and the ALL PLUS Voyageur card.

Targeted at repeat Accor customers and valid across 21 brands, we wanted to take a closer look at ALL PLUS Voyageur to see how HfP readers could gain value from the card.

Tomorrow we will be reviewing a hotel in Hong Kong I booked using the ALL PLUS Voyageur card.

ALL PLUS Voyageur subscription

What is the ALL PLUS Voyageur card?

The ALL PLUS Voyageur card is a subscription card that offers various additional benefits to regular Accor customers in exchange for an annual fee of €199.

The card benefits are:

  • 20% discount across 11 luxury and premium brands and 15% off at ten midscale and economy brands (discount valid on all public rates, not just Best Flexible Rate)
  • discount valid against up to two rooms per stay
  • guaranteed room availability up to two days before arrival
  • 20 free status nights in Accor Live Limitless

The majority of Accor brands take part, although not all. Here’s a list of brands that are involved with the Voyageur card:

ALL PLUS Voyageur subscription
  • Luxury: Sofitel, SO/, Sofitel LEGEND
  • Premium: Grand Mercure, MGallery, 21C Museum Hotels, Mondrian, Mövenpick, Pullman, The Sebel, Adagio Premium
  • Midscale: Handwritten Collection, Adagio Original, Mercure, Novotel, Tribe
  • Economy: ibis budget, ibis, ibis Styles, greet, Adagio Access

The 20 free status nights given with the card get you instant Silver status in Accor Live Limitless (key benefits are a welcome drink and the possibility of late check out) and means you only need to do another 10 nights to get Gold status.

How does the card work in practice?

To help us really understand the value of the card, we were given a Voyageur membership by Accor to try out. I needed to book a night at the AKI Hong Kong – MGallery during my visit to Hong Kong last month so I documented the process of using the card during the booking process.

You need to insert your membership card number when searching for hotels on the Accor homepage. Click ‘special rates’ in the search options and pop it in where it says ‘Membership and loyalty programme’.

Here is the price without the Voyageur cardnumber:

…and here it is with it applied:

I was shown four pricing options:

  • 20% Saver Rate (ALL PLUS Voyageur) – £369
  • 20% Saver Rate (ALL PLUS Voyageur) + breakfast – £403
  • ALL Membership Rate – £425
  • Flexible Rate + breakfast – £515

You can clearly see the Voyageur card saving. I picked the option with breakfast and completed the rest of the booking as normal.

You can read my review of AKI Hong Kong tomorrow.

Conclusion

If you are the sort of person who does regular Accor stays at participating brands you could get real value from the ALL PLUS Voyageur card.

The card also offers a good way of leapfrogging your way to Gold status in ALL – Accor Live Limitless – which comes with a room upgrade and the possibility of both early check-in and late check-out – with just an extra 10 night stays.

You can find out more and apply for the ALL PLUS Voyageur card on the Accor website here.

Re: Do you know if I can ‘upgrade’ my second year to the APV card as I plan to stay at more overseas mid-scale, rather than just at UK eco-scale brands next year?
You can’t upgrade your existing membership. But you buy APV in addition to your existing membership.
From the FAQ on the Accor hotels web site:

Can I subscribe to different kinds of subscription cards at the same time?
Yes, you can combine different subscription cards according to your needs. Note that if you subscribe to several subscription products embedding a status accelerator such as Status Nights, these will be cumulated and help you reach an even higher status. For instance, if ALL PLUS ibis provides 10 status nights and ALL PLUS Voyageur provides 20 status nights, subscribing to both ALL PLUS cards will give you 30 Status Nights, bringing you directly to Gold status.

    • Stuart says:

Thanks for that. It would not break even for me having both subscription cards and I have already got enough ALL Status Nights for Platinum in 2024.
But this is worth remembering for Feb 2025 when my ALL PLUS ibis expires and to consider if the APV card will save me money (depending if ALL raise/keep the fee at €199 then).

  • meta says:

You can hold both new ALL Ibis and Voyageur subscriptions which combined gives you instant Gold. I subscribed in April when they ran 20% off subscriptions, so it came down to 238 euros for both. It was a good investment as I saved a lot with my four stays since. More importantly, I was upgraded every time.

There is also ALL Signature, but I think it’s not worth it now that Black Friday promo is over.

Since Rhys is in Asia, it might be an opportunity to mention the ‘Accor Plus’ scheme. As far as I understand, this scheme is only really useful in Asia and the big benefit is 50% off food (with two people dining) and 15% off drinks. Some exclusions, especially in the Maldives, but I think it can save more than the £180/year cost.

    • Rob says:

He’s a couple of feet away from me in the office 🙂

      • Al_Wiltshire says:

Ah, your whole office has relocated to Asia? Then you should definitely get an ‘Accor Plus’ card 😉

You going to use some of your VS points to treat him to a Greggs?

  • Roy says:

I’m a bit puzzled about the idea of having to type in your membership number when you search? The card should just be associated with your ALL account and the discounts should show up automatically as long as you are logged in.

    • Rhys says:

Yes, that would be ideal….but it doesn’t work that way!

      • meta says:

If you have the app, it shows automatically when you search.

      • Roy says:

Well, it has always worked that way for my Ibis Business Card – which now shows up as an ALL Plus Ibis card. I’d be very surprised if new ALl Plus cards behave differently.

Perhaps it’s due to the rather unusual route through which you acquired the card that it’s not been set up correctly on your account? Does it show up under the “My paid cards” section in the ALL account overview?

    • Stuart says:

Every time I login on the web to my ALL account or on the iPhone app it already has my ALL PLUS ibis number and shows me the lower rates applied, with its own logo. Never had to keep entering the number.
As a check, I then search the same booking without logging in to see the Public and ALL Member rates.

Rhys I am looking forward to tomorrow as I am going hong kong in October and need info. Already I made sure to book my flights for a fortnight return so I can hop over to Taiwan thanks to the info you recently gave.

  • Michele Mas says:

Does anyone know is the ALL PLUS Voyageur rate flexible? ie can you hold an cancel. I have some future trips but the dates are not definite and would like to hold some dates. Many thanks Michele

  • Cwyfan says:

To me, the absence of Fairmont makes it marginal at best
